Thanks for letting us know what you enjoy about the newsletter! I'm sure guest writer CJ Weigel will be delighted to read your compliment. Stay tuned for more from his series about Record of Lodoss War 😊 Cheers!
I have loved King Arthur, Camelot, the Knights of the Round Table, Merlin, Guinevere since I was a little kid. I’ve been eyeing Pendragon for awhile now. 😊😊
I've been looking at Pendragon longingly since the late 80's but I've never managed to bring it to the table. I really need to change that.
I've been inspired by the quick demo/play segments in the +1 Forward podcast's Forged in the Dark Summer Series from several years ago. I'd prep some scenes for different games that show off unique and interesting aspects of those games. Then, if we don't have enough players for a regular game, we could jump into one of these demos and try out a bite-sized chunk of a game that has caught our attention.
Please feel free to share your gaming experience once you do bring Pendragon to your table. Use that bit of inspiration to encourage you to make it happen 😊 Cheers!
I love me anything Record of Lodoss War. Great article! I'm reading the English translation of the tabletop sessions right now. So cool.

I think he may have been the one who translated the japanese play reports into English. If he is than my compliments and gratitude to both of you.
I am not, but I'm flattered! I've actually been looking for a good source to download them; so far I've just found one issue on Internet Archive.
If you shoot me your email I can send them to you.

You'll have to let us know how it feels to play an RPG for something you've adored for so long. I would probably learn a lot from you ☺️
